Bunny Ear Drawstring Bag - Easter Sewing Pattern PDF Download

Bunny Ears Drawstring Bag sewing pattern! There are two sizes included. It has a double drawstring
casing. You can add an optional square bottom. This bag makes a fun gift bag to fill with candy, gift cards, money, treats and small gifts. 
You can add a face to the front if you’d like, although the directions do not include adding a face.
This pattern best suits woven fabric. You can use quilters cotton, flannel or something similar. If you use
anything thicker than flannel the casing will become smaller, and harder to sew and pull the drawstrings through.
The finished size of the small bag is approximately 5” x 7”, without the height of the ears.
The finished size of the large bag is approximately 7” x 10”, without the height of the ears. Finished size of the bags will be slightly different if you add a square bottom.
 
SUPPLIES & MATERIALS NEEDED. Fabric: A non-stretch, woven fabric works best for this pattern. For the small bag you will need a rectangle of fabric 14” x 10”. For the small ears you need 12” x 5” of fabric. For the large bag you will need a rectangle of fabric 18” x 14”. For the large ears you will need 16” x 7” of fabric. 
Drawstring: For the small bag you will need two drawstings 19” long, each. For the large bag you will need two drawstrings 23” long, each. Suggestions are twill tape, yarn, cording, shoe lace, ribbon etc.
Optional Face: You can add a face to the front of the bag if you’d like. The directions do not include adding a face. Be creative and stitch, glue or paint a face of your choice on the front of the bag.
